Family photos shouldn’t feel stiff, awkward or stressful. HBN Visuals offers relaxed outdoor family photography sessions across Penrith, Richmond, Windsor, the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney. We cater to any area however travel fees may apply.
Sessions are lightly guided so you know what to do, but natural enough to capture the real laughs, cuddles, chaos and connection between your family.
MINI FAMILY SESSION
A fun and relaxed 30-minute shoot designed to capture your family just as you are—laughs, cuddles, chaos and all. We’ll keep things light and easy while creating a mix of natural and gently guided moments. You’ll receive 15 edited images delivered in a simple online gallery, perfect for sharing with loved ones.

Signature FAMILY SESSION
A light, relaxed 1-hour session focused on keeping everyone comfortable and natural. Expect a blend of candid family moments and gently guided poses. Your 30 edited images will be delivered in a clean online gallery ready to share.

Extras
*A booking fee of $100 is required to secure your session date and time. Your booking is not locked in until the booking fee has been paid. The remaining balance is due no later than day of the session.
*If the weather is unsuitable for an outdoor session, we’ll reschedule to the next suitable available date. Booking fees are non-refundable as they hold your date, but may be transferred once with reasonable notice.

- Rush delivery, within 72 hours - $100
- Travel within 20km of Penrith is included with all standard photography sessions.
- For locations further away, the following travel fees generally apply each way:
- 20–40km: $30
- 40–60km: $60
- 60–80km: $90
- 80km+: Custom travel quote
- Where applicable, additional costs such as tolls, paid parking, accommodation or other travel expenses may also apply. These will always be confirmed with you before your booking is finalised.
- For weddings, events, commercial shoots or locations requiring significant travel time, a customised travel quote may be provided.

what time of day is best?
Golden hour is usually best, which is the soft light shortly after sunrise or before sunset. It gives a warmer, more flattering look and helps avoid harsh midday shadows.
what should we wear?
Neutral, soft and earthy tones usually photograph best. Try to avoid large logos, heavy patterns, bright neon colours or outfits that clash. Once you book, I can help guide outfit choices so everyone looks coordinated without being too matchy.
Can you recommend any good locations?
We photograph families across Penrith, Glenmore Park, Jordan Springs, Emu Plains, Richmond, Windsor, the Blue Mountains and surrounding Western Sydney suburbs.
If you’re unsure where to shoot, I can help recommend outdoor locations depending on the look you want including open fields, parkland, riverside areas, soft greenery or golden-hour light.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather is unsuitable, we can reschedule to another available date. Cloudy weather can still photograph beautifully, but heavy rain, unsafe conditions or extreme wind may require a new date.
can we bring our dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome at suitable outdoor locations. Just let me know beforehand so we can choose a location that works well for pets.
Do you retouch skin?
Basic natural retouching may be included where appropriate, but family sessions are edited to keep everyone looking like themselves. Heavy retouching is not the goal.
